Radiation Protection!
The U.S. government's stocking up!
How about you!
If there were a nuclear event in our country, radioactive iodine would be released which can damage your thyroid gland or even cause thyroid cancer. This may be prevented by taking Potassium Iodate- KIO3- a thyroid blocker which is the only known protection for this problem, immediately after fallout.Potassium Iodate (Pro-KI03) will shield (or block) the thyroid and prevent it from absorbing radioactive iodine during a nuclear emergency, be it war, spills leaks or melt-downs.
The features of potassium Iodate are; no bitter taste (easier for kids to take), long shelf life (when stored in a dry cool place it should last for a generation), easy to store or carry, good for pets as well. Each factory sealed bottle contains 200 fresh scored tablets of potassium Iodate 85mg. The "scored" tablets are easy to break in two for dosing children and pets.
We recommend each family member should have at least one bottle in their preparedness kit.
Dosage should be started at least 12 hours before fallout. Best if taken with food. Weighs .21 lbs.
